One of Fleet Captain Paul Woodcock's duties this year was to keep track of all the club paddlers and their participation in club-sponsored paddling trips. Paul dutifully records the names and miles submitted by trip leaders for each participant and for every such paddling trip throughout the year. (These statistics do not include any miles paddled on non-HCC sponsored trips.)
At the February general membership meeting the tally of last year's paddling mileage was announced by Paul Woodcock, and 100-mile recipients received as an award a beautiful shiny plaque with the club logo. The number of members reaching this milestone this year was down from previous years, perhaps due to the drought that has kept many of us off the rivers as much as we would like.
Here is the list of the 2011 100-mile paddlers, in order of miles paddled, from most to least:

Joe Coker was the most active trip leader, having led over 20 paddling trips during the year, and he received a hand-crafted red wood canoe, customized by Paul Woodcock, as an award.
Congratulations to all of these members for their achievements!
