Come see the new finish line for next year's Colorado River 100! Next year the plan is to restore the race to a full 100 miles, racing from Tahitian Village Park in Bastrop to Beason's Park in Columbus.
This Saturday we won't be racing, but rather just piddling along on the river and enjoying nature. We will meet up at Beason's Park at 0800 and then shuttle up to the SH 71 Business bridge in Columbus to launch. I anticipate a pleasant four hours on the river. The weather is supposed to be pleasant, with a high of about 95, light winds, and some cloud cover.
