About this event
Time to get out on the water again, on the shaded Champion Lake and Caney Creek. This will be a slow and relaxed paddle, in the 5 to 7 mile range on quiet water: UNLESS TS Edouard does a major dump in the area. It that happens and water level is too high we may have to move. I will notify those signed up for the trip if that happens. Bring a light lunch/snack and we may recess to the DQ along I-10 afterwards, other suggestions welcome.
