Join your fellow paddlers from the Houston Canoe Club and the Houston Association of Sea Kayakers for a 90-minute pontoon boat tour to enjoy the amazing sight of more than 250,000 Mexican free-tailed bats emerging from the Waugh Drive Bridge at dusk. A knowledgeable guide from the Buffalo Bayou Partnership will tell us all about the bats, such as how many mosquitoes these little mammals can consume in just a single night.

 When: Friday July 31; the boat leaves the dock at 7:35 PM (best to arrive 30 minutes ahead)

Where: The dock at 1019 Commerce Street, Houston (Allen’s Landing)
