This is longish, but really pleasant portion of the Colorado, noted for its concentration of bald eagles (we've seen nearly 50 on some trips).
We will meet at FM 960 and the Colorado at 0730, just west of Glen Flora and then shuttle up to FM 950 and the Colorado, just east of Garwood. This trip is just about 28.0 miles with no known unusual river hazards. It does have a few little riffles and sweepers, but is otherwise pretty easy paddling.
Both the put in and take out are fairly step by Colorado River Standards, but pretty easy by Brazos standards.
