About this event

Out and back trip featuring Mud Lake Bayou between Lake Miller and Mud Lake deep in the Cypress Forest of the Trinity Basin.

Meeting time: 8:30 Launch: 9:30 Take-out: Approx 3:30-4:00. Level II. Moderately Strenuous. No pets. No children under 16.

Kayaks and canoes. No SUP’s.

Put-in TBD depending on conditions. Will be advised to participants.
Options:

1. West Bank Trinity Bridge (Requires Trinity flow rate of less than 10,000-12,000 cfs.) R/T Approx 10 Miles via Lake Pass.

2. Cedar Hill Park on Lake Charlotte (Requires winds less than 15 mph) R/T Approx 8.5 miles.

Date and Time: Saturday, May 23, 2026. Meet at 8:30 AM. Launch 9:30 AM. Take-out approximately 3:30-4:00 PM.

Location: Trinity Basin. Put-in West Bank Trinity Bridge or Cedar Hill Park on Lake Charlotte.
