Jack's Fork / Current River
About this event
If Jack's Fork is runnable (requires good prior rainfall), we will paddle from the Prongs to Two Rivers (44 miles) or from the Hwy 17 Bridge at Buck Hollow to Two Rivers (38 miles), whatever instantaneous conditions allow.
If Jack's Fork is a bust, we will paddle the Upper Current River from Cedargrove camp to Two Rivers (45 miles).
The first day format is to meet at the takeout at 4:00PM and consolidate watercraft, gear and people, leaving a vehicle or two empty at the takeout, then get up to the campground and set up while it's still light, then get dinner in camp or at a nearby eating establishment. NOTE: Sunset is at 6:17 pm.
