Buffalo National River (Arkansas)

This trip is timed to take advantage of anticipated autumn color and autumn rains. If rain fills the drainage enough at our start date, we'll start at Ponca and ride all the way down to somewhere between Carver and Tyler Bend. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll start at Dillard's Ferry downstream of Tyler Bend and take out on the White River at Shipps Landing.

Weather is the main factor at this time of year. It could be really cold or pretty mild. It could rain the whole week, or not at all, or anything in between. We will not have any way to see how the weather is shaping up until the middle of October, and the forecast accuracy is pretty low even then.

If this trip fills, please let me know by email or phone call if you would like to be added to the wait list. I have not been able to make the wait list appear on the registration panel, so we'll handle it manually.
