About this event
Come count birds in the cypress swamps and streams of the San Bernard River, Peach Creek and bottom lands. This is a new count that we did for the first time last year. Conditions vary according to water flows in the San Bernard. We will plan to meet at 0700 at Bates Allen Park, near Kendleton and explore the waters that make sense under the current river conditions, while counting bird. Distance is probably between 12 and 15 miles.
