Big Bend

Quoted Text

I have seen reports of trees being knocked down by machinery to make room for border blockages in the National Park. There has also been an incursion on the State Park. I have been to the area enough to know that God has provided enough of a natural barrier with canyon walls and miles of rough territory. I suspect that harm is being done to the riverfront to shift billions of tax dollars to contractors. I have contacted my congressman and senators to complain about it. I have done Boquillas 6 times, Santa Elena twice, and the Lower Canyons once.

If you would like to learn more about the current situation regarding the Border Wall and Big Bend, the Sierra Club Bay Area Houston will host an Environmental Community Outreach Townhall on Wednesday, August 19.
