The Neches River Rally will take place on September 12th at 8:00 am at 6790 Bigner Rd in Beaumont at the Saltwater Barrier.
It is a fundraiser for the Big Thicket Organization so registration is required. The paddle is approximately 5 miles from Cooks Lake to Scatterman and includes a section of Cypress Forest. It is a pretty, easy paddle and perfect for novices. And the hamburgers are excellent!
