Green stormwater infrastructure is an alternative or addition to traditional detention and drainage techniques that integrates nature-based tools to manage stormwater runoff. Tanzeem Chowdhury, a Senior Staff Analyst at the City of Houston, will discuss the City’s newly adopted Green Infrastructure Guidebook. The new guidebook includes details on what sites these approaches are applicable on, as well as the pros and cons of each practice.
