About this event
This is an interesting 16.5 miles on the Brazos and is notable for the petrified logjam, stromatolite domes, and a few riffles to keep it interesting.
The put in and take out are both a bit challenging, but manageable. There are no unusual river hazards in this segment other than the usual snags and sweepers, plus a few rocky sections.
We will meet at 0830 at the FM 60 bridge, west of College Station. The take out is on the west bank with best access on the south side of FM 60. If you are interested in attending, let me know by email.
