What: Texas Coastal Roundup
When: Saturday April 18, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Where: R.A. Apffel Park, 1923 Apffel Park Road, East End of Galveston Island

This family-friendly event will showcase the work that area organizations do to protect the Texas coast. Participants will have an opportunity to interact with marine life, see how Texas prepares for hurricanes, and learn how they can help to preserve the coast. There will also be interactive exhibits, educational materials, a Kid Zone, door prize drawings, and food trucks.
