On Saturday, April 4th, enjoy free admission to all of Houston Audubon's High Island sanctuaries! These sanctuaries welcome almost 400 species of birds and thousands of visitors from all 50 states and 20+ different countries! Staff and volunteers will be available to answer all your bird questions. There will also be free classes in the Morse Field Station, “Flock Talks” at the Rookery, and volunteers stationed throughout the new 700 foot long McGovern Canopy Walkway to help you spot wildlife – from birds to turtles to gators! Bring the family out for a day of nature exploration with the birds.
This is a great opportunity to observe the spring migration.
