Hello HCC Paddling Friends,
The countdown is on! In case you didn't know, the inaugural Texas Gulf Coast Sea Kayak Symposium is officially happening, and we’re only 10 days away from the March 2–6, 2026 kickoff in Galveston, TX.
Whether you were waiting for confirmation or are still sitting on the fence, now is the time to jump in.
We’ve already got a great crew of paddlers coming from California, Colorado, New York, and Louisiana, but we’d love a stronger Texas showing to round out the group!
The Details:
- Dates: March 2–6, 2026, Galveston, TX
- Lodging: We still have beds available in our two cabins at San Luis Pass County Park, and there are plenty of nearby tent and RV sites.
- Options: Choose between 5-day or 3-day sessions.
- Gear: Bring your own or rent directly from KAYAKING TEXAS.
