The Luce Bayou watershed, including Tarkington Bayou, covers more than 200 square miles of rural and developing areas within Harris, Liberty, and San Jacinto Counties.
We will discuss water quality within the watershed, including concerns, impairments, and opportunities to improve. This will be followed by the development of an Implementation Plan (focusing on bacteria), with the potential for developing a more wide-ranging, locally led watershed protection plan.
