I am posting for my brother in North Carolina, who desires a canoe for lake fishing in his state.
He'd love to have a Wenonah or similar kevlar/lightweight canoe, at least a 36" beam (for stability) and in the 17'+ range. He's not into trailering despite my suggesting that method of carrying a boat and that a tandem sit-on-top would be a good choice. Nope, he wants a car-topper. I will provide transportation if you've got a lightweight canoe you are willing to part with.
