HCC Paddling Forum

I have just posted a short trip for this coming Sunday, September21. We'll meet at the boat ramp at White's Park - contact me if you're not sure where that is. This will be a leisurely paddle of approximately 5 miles. the bayou is almost completely shaded so it should be comfortable. Registration is required so I know who to expect. Monday is the first day of Fall, so let's get out on the water.

Hi Natalie. This is Mike Grove. We've met briefly at a couple of HCC meetings. I'm an HCC member but I haven't been active in trips. I would like to join you on this one. I have done the Buffalo Bayou Regatta twice in recent years and Greens Bayou once, but not much else. This Turtle Bayou trip sounds like a good chance to get more involved. I will have an Old Town Next (sort of a canoe/kayak hybrid) that I paddle with a double blade.
