My name is Salvador, and I am the father of Núria, my 14-year-old daughter. She has been training in flatwater canoeing for several years here in Spain, and she is planning to spend a school year in the United States through an exchange program.
One of Núria’s biggest wishes is to keep training while she is abroad. For that reason, we are hoping to find a host family connected to your club who could welcome her during the school year. Ideally, it would be a family with a daughter (or son) around her age who also paddles, so that Núria could share both daily life and training with someone who understands her passion.
We believe this would be a wonderful experience for both girls, not only in sports but also in friendship and cultural exchange. We, as parents, will of course make sure that all the arrangements are handled properly through the exchange program and that the host family feels supported throughout the process.
