The Harris County Flood Control District invites you to participate in a series of public meetings (public scoping meetings) this summer for a major effort called the Solutions for Advancing Floodplain Evaluation and Resilience Study (SAFER Study). This effort, conducted in coordination with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), aims to identify large-scale ways to reduce flood risk in our region.
Both in-person and virtual meetings will be held during July and August. Learn more and view the schedule at https://www.hcfcd.org/Community/Community-Engagement-and-Public-Meetings.
