What: “Large Diameter Tunnels for Stormwater Conveyance, and What They Can Do to Mitigate Houston Flooding”

As discussed previously on the HCC Conservation Forum, the use of large diameter tunnels for flood management in the Houston area has been under discussion and study for some time. On May 1, Dr. Tina Petersen, Director of the Harris County Flood Control District and Scott Elmer, Assistant Director of Operations at Harris County Flood Control District, will present an update on these studies.
