Paddlers from all over Texas will participate in the world’s longest river clean up, picking up trash along most of the San Marcos’ 90 miles of River. The weekend’s festivities will focus on reducing trash on one of the most beautiful rivers in Texas. Other benefits for participants include a BBQ dinner and free camping.
The Houston Canoe Club will join cleanup activities on Section 2 of the river: from San Marcos River Retreat down to Sculls Crossing. You can register for the event through the HCC Event Calendar.
