As you may have heard by now, the Houston Canoe Club will be celebrating its 60th Anniversary on Sunday, October 6, 2024. The Party will take place at Bay Area Community Center, 5002 Nasa Parkway, Seabrook, TX 77586.
Festivities will include:
--Flotilla Paddle on Armand Bayou South 9:00 to 12:00
--Indoor Program (Including meal) 2:00 to 6:00

The purpose of this message is to specifically invite you to and encourage you to participate in the FLOTILLA PADDLE!!
--Armand Bayou South. Out and Back from the Bay Area Community Center Docks (Rowing Docks)
--Distance 4-6 miles
--Paddle Time approx 3 hrs. 9:00am to 12:00pm
--Meeting Time at the Docks: 8:00am
--Free to all members and guests
--Waiver required
--Trip Leader: Joe Coker (281-788-3283)
It would be fantastic if we could put 100 boats on the water! However, no matter how many folks participate, we will still have an epic, fun time in honor of the Club's 60th Anniversary!
Registration for the Flotilla is included in the general 60th Anniversary Party registration on the Events page of the website. Simply indicate "YES" next to "Flotilla" where asked to do so on the registration form. From there, we will produce a list of Flotilla paddlers who will then be specifically contacted with further details, hopefully around 10/1.
