About this event
Come enjoy a short paddle from Cedar Hill Park, followed by fellowship and food at the pavilion. We'll wend our way through the cypress swamp and bayous at a leisurely pace. All level of paddlers are welcome with the caveat that high winds or freezing weather could present challenges. We'll all be checking the weather for the day and look forward to some holiday spirit and cheer.<br /><br />If you don't want to paddle, come noonish and join us for the feast.<br /><br />For paddlers the usual caveats apply - must wear PFDs, need to be a member of ACA in addition to Houston Canoe Club or you are assessed a $10 fee. Non HCC members are welcome but the ACA requirement holds if you go on the water.
