I've known Linda for many years both through the canoe club and with the sea kayaking group HASK. She enjoyed whitewater in the hill country and at Week of Rivers in the past. I enjoyed paddling the Pecos River with her on an HCC trip. In any case, I received the following note from her son Chris Colthart regarding her memorial:
The memorial service for my mom, Linda Day, will be at her church on July 20.
We look forward to celebrating her life of discovery and adventure with some tales; you are invited to share a brief memory or tribute during the memorial.
There will be a reception afterwards.
