The American Canoe Association has organized more than 50 paddling events all across the country to celebrate the longest day of the year. The weekend on the San Marcos will begin around 5:00 PM on Friday June 21st at San Marcos River Retreat with a Strawberry Moon Sunset paddle. Then, there will be a paddle down the San Marcos River on Saturday.
Cost for the weekend is $40 which includes camping, facility use fees, shuttles and commemorative sticker and T-shirt. Participants must provide their own camping equipment and food for the weekend. Limited kayaking equipment will be available for rental when booked in advance.
