At its August 2 meeting, the HCC Board agreed to provide a letter of support for a grant being submitted by the Bayou Preservation Association to address water quality sampling and pet waste removal in the Clear Creek watershed. The project will also work to increase public awareness of these issues. This is a potential win for water quality in a creek that is popular with paddlers.
