This is an official Houston Canoe Club trip. You must have an up to date signed waiver on file with the club, or print and bring your own. If you are both an HCC and American Canoe Association member, no cost, otherwise $5. Please bring correct change for your trip facilitator. PFDs are required to be worn.

Please bring a lunch, snacks, water and sunscreen. We will launch at the boat ramp with the park. For those who would like to practice getting in your boat on the water there are floating docks.This is a beautiful lake showcasing many of the Woodlands elite homes. The paddling area has been extended to the left of the boat ramp (previously blocked) that allows you to get in a river area that the last time I was there had lots of wildlife and was a fun area to paddle in. This is a great relaxing trip for the experienced and an excellent beginners trip. PFD required.

Skill level: beginner, a great place to begin paddling or try out that new boat.
