About this event
Meet by 9:30 AM. Launch at 10:00 AM. Distance about 5 miles. Take-out around 1:00 PM. Lake exploration. Primarily the South Channel depending on water level. Weather should be beautiful—Forecast Sunny, 79 degrees, Wind SE 5-10.
Level II. No pets. No children under 16. No Gatorphobes.
Bring Food and Water. In-boat lunch.
Up-to-date HCC Waiver required.
Directions: I-10 East. Exit FM 565 in Cove, TX. Go north under the Frwy to FM 1409. Turn Right. Go to CR 417. Turn right. (OBEY THE SPEED LIMIT).
Proceed to the boat ramp—through the parking lot, past the bathroom, straight down the hill. Approx 1 hour from downtown Houston.
