Armand Bayou and Horsepen Bayou
About this event
We'll meet at Bay Area Park at 9:30 AM, launch by 10:00 AM, and return to boat launch by 1:00 PM.
From Bay Area Park boat launch we will paddle through Alligator Alley and Horsepen Bayou to UH Clear Lake campus and then back to the boat launch. This is an easy trip, suitable for beginners with cold weather PADDLING gear. NO articles of clothing made of COTTON.
Weather predictions while we are on the water, are water temperature of 57ºF degrees, air temperature of 40ºF to 54ºF degrees. Sunny skies and no wind.
After the paddle we can warm up and fuel up at Denny's, 2735 Bay Area Boulevard, Houston, 77058.
