Miles And Mussels #10, Brazos River

Date moved from Sunday, September 30 to Saturday October 6 because of high water.

Brief
(one sentence) description:  Miles and Mussels paddle of approximately 30 miles

Full description:  This stretch of river is roughly 30 miles so back to the lots of miles format.  In general this stretch has no real river hazards, other than the usual snags and potential strainers.  It is more heavily impacted by development than most of the sections we have been paddling, but still contains a few interesting areas, including the back edge of Brazos Bend State Park.

Skill Level:  Novice.  Generally flat water with few hazards, but substantial miles.  The put in is easy, but the take out is a bit steep and may be inconvenient if the river is rising.
