This is an official club trip. If you are not an ACA member you will be assessed a $5 fee for event insurance. PFDs are mandatory and helmets are recommended if you wish to play on the waves and currents.

Camp at the San Marcos River Retreat on Tuesday night and paddle the river on Wednesday, hoping to return to Houston for the Club meeting Wednesday night.

Be sure to contact me for details. If you are an early riser you could just meet us at the putin by 9 on Wednesday. Need to have a headcount for the campgrounds, which will cost $10/person for overnight camping.

The San Marcos boasts some modest whitewater to practice maneuvering and surfing skills.
