Little Missouri River, Murfreesboro, AR The SWEPCO schedule for "The Narrows" dam shows 3-gate releases starting at noon on Wednesday, continuing until after dark. If we get on the water by 3:00 or 3:30, we will have the full effect of the push with plenty behind us still on the way. 4.5 miles in about 1.5 hours seems about right for planning purposes. NOTE: This is genuine SWIFTWATER paddling. There are no extraordinary hazards beyond the hydraulics and "pushiness" of the swiftwater, and the usual shore-bound sweepers, but please assess your boat control capabilities before you decide to join in the fun.
