DeGray Lake Dam to Arkadelphia

Meet at the DeGray Lake reregulating station (end of Cedar Grove Rd) at noon. Paddle about 8 miles to the confluence of the Ouachita River, then down to Hwy 7 in Arkadelphia - about 11 miles total.

Southwest Paddler describes this as "a pool-and-drop river with enough whitewater excitement to entertain those who prefer a bumpy ride."

It could get pretty hot - 91 forecast. Bring a big cotton shirt, a snack, water, PFD, kayak and paddle.
