Awesome paddle on the San Bernard River at Bates Allen Park last Friday 4/28. Best ever out there...perfect conditions (est. stage 10 ft.), beautiful day with temps to low 80's, great group! With lots of water, we were able to go farther upstream than I've ever been. Given more time, we could have kept going for who knows how far. It was plenty deep and wide open. But we decided to turn around at a spot where we found a nice inlet to explore. I will call it the "High Inlet"
for future reference. Wonderful nature and so peaceful up there.
