"$75 Million Repair Job To Dams Critical For Protecting Houston" (Houston, TX)
"The two dams hold back the Addicks and Barker reservoirs that lie on opposite sides of the Katy Freeway at Highway 6. Right now, there’s not much water in either reservoir. "Body of second missing canoer found in Donner Lake" (Truckee, CA)
"The body of a second missing canoer was found by divers Sunday afternoon in Donner Lake, Truckee police said. The man's body was found in about 60 feet of water near the site where his canoe reportedly capsized Friday, officers said. 'We would like to remind everyone how important personal flotation devices are. These situations are always extremely tragic and we can only hope we can prevent similar incidents in the future'..."

"Body of missing kayaker found" (Houston, TX)
"The missing Dickinson fisherman that went missing after the canoe he was in overturned has been found and identified. 22-year-old Francisco Ruben Garza from Hidalgo, Texas was with a 23-year-old co-worker in Dickinson Bayou when the weather caused the canoe to overturn at about 7:30 p.m. The co-worker was wearing a life vest and was able to make it to shore and call for help. Garza was not wearing a life vest..."
