1974-1992

Ladies & Gentlemen:
I have continued to upload old HCC newsletters from the archive box to the web site, and I am happy to report that I have completed the last of the newsletters! We now have newsletters going back as far as 41 years, to 1974! I am now wading through the remaining miscellaneous documents.
Did you know that on St. Patrick's day, the city of Houston used to dye Buffalo Bayou green? Did you know that HCC made actor Burt Reynolds an honorary member of the club after his movie "Deliverance"? Yep, that's the kind of interesting stuff you can learn by reading these old documents.
In addition to the newsletters, there are many other goodies which have been found in the box and uploaded. Here are some of the interesting things you'll discover which I have added to the web site this month:

Note that there are many missing months of newsletters from 1991 to 2000. I don't know if there was no newsletter published in those months, or if there were issues published and they just aren't in the archive box. At any rate, they're missing. So if you're a long time member and happen to also be a pack rat, and have saved copies of newsletters all these years, please check and see if you can help fill in some of those gaps.
