This month’s program is sure to be a treat. I don’t think you’ll want to miss it. We will learn all about HCC’s history producing the Southwestern Canoe Rendezvous (SWCR).
The SWCR offered a hands-on, tremendous opportunity for paddlers to experience the range of boating options available, and to be immersed in the paddling lifestyle. It was embraced by paddlers in Texas and beyond. It was quite an amazing accomplishment!

We will learn about the many clinics offered at the SWCR, which grew from a handful to over 100, with instructors coming from all over North America. We’ll learn how the SWCR was envisioned. We’ll learn about the Freestyle competition. We’ll learn about the SWCR’s finances, and much, more.
There will be plenty of visuals!
