I have been working for Harris County for almost 19 years now, and began as a caretaker at Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center in Humble. I worked my way up through the ranks, becoming a naturalist/staff herpetologist, then assistant director. In 2010, I accepted a position as the Harris County Precinct 4 Project Manager for the Spring Creek Greenway. I own PetFlyTrap.com, one of the largest online carnivorous plant nurseries in the nation, and I enjoy all outdoor activities, including fishing, hiking, looking for carnivorous plant sites in the wild, gardening, and of course, canoeing. I even own one! |
