The annual San Marcos River clean-up will be held on March 5, 2022. Free camping will be provided at the San Marcos River Retreat, aka Tom Goynes' place.

The Texas racing association shows the Buffalo Bayou Regatta to be on that same day - Saturday, March 5, 2022. The two events often coincide.

Grace Arianoutsos (<gracegreek@yahoo.com>) will be section leader for the "Tom's-to-Scull's" section of the clean-up on March 4th. Please contact her to sign up and reserve a campsite and dinner Saturday night. The final head count isn't due until Feb. 28th, so there's plenty of time to check your calendars and decide if you're coming. Vacillation makes for a lot of grief for the section leader and dinner planners.

Fortunately, the San Marcos River Cleanup and the Buffalo Bayou Regatta will not conflict in 2023. The Cleanup will be on March 4, and the Regatta will be on March 11.
