Author Last Post

Thanks for posting, Tom! I loved River and the wall.

On Wednesday April 5, I believe that Secrets of the Dead will be shown at 12:00 AM and 8:00 AM on Channel 8.4, then Deep in the Heart: A Texas Wildlife Story will be shown at 9:00 PM on Channel 8.1.

I’m seeing Secrets of the Dead in that time slot

The DVD, coffee table book, and other related items can be ordered from the film's website.

What a coincidence. 20 mins ago, I just set my DVR to record this!

This visually stunning new feature-length movie from Fin and Fur Films explores the entire state of Texas as seen from the viewpoint of its wildlife, from bears and ocelots to Guadalupe bass and alligators.

Written and produced by Ben Masters (The River and the Wall, 2019), Deep in the Heart is masterfully narrated by Texas’ own Matthew McConaughey. It will be released for showing in Texas theaters on June 3, but you can see it for free on KUHT Channel 8 this Wednesday, April 5, at 9:00 PM. Once you have watched it at home, you will probably want to see it again on the big screen when it opens in June. Learn more and view the official trailer at https://deepintheheartwildlife.com/.
