Notice!! We now have plenty of volunteers for the Saturday night dinner crew. Thanks to all!

I just spoke to Tom Goynes. There will be free camping for clean-up participants both Friday and Saturday nights. Only those camping at Spencer's will have to pay for a second night.

Paula Goynes has "retired" from being Mistress of the Kitchen for the Saturday night dinner. I have volunteered to take over for her. So far, the only other person who has offered to help set up/serve/clean up afterwards is Susan Eda. It is not a requirement for getting dinner, but Susan and I could sure use a helper or two. Please let me know (at <fgohrt@gmail.com>) if you can help. A nice, free dinner is a great thing, but it doesn't happen by magic.

HCC will help with Section two, which is from San Marcos River Retreat to Sculls crossing. This is a moving water section with obstacles. So be prepared to dodge rocks, trees, and sand bars.

The river has been running about 85 to 90 cfs. It is low but very doable, if you fall over, just stand up.

I will camp at San Marcos River Retreat, Friday through Sunday. You are welcomed to join my campsite, if you let me know by March 2. There is one-night FREE camping offer.

If you plan to eat the FREE Saturday dinner, let me know by March 2.

I will relay all the information to the Section 2 coordinator.
