We plan to explore the area around Lake Miller, Mud Lake, and the forested areas in between. Paddling distance: 8-10 miles, with breaks for sightseeing and lunch. This will be an out-and-back trip that does not require a car shuttle.
Participants must provide their own canoe or kayak, life jackets (required to be worn), and paddles. Having a spare set of clothes available in a dry bag is recommended.
Please make sure that your ACA waiver form is up to date https://americancanoe.org/insurance/for-clubs/#tab_2 . If you are not currently an ACA member, you can join at https://www.americancanoe.org/general/pick_username.asp or pay a one-time $10 ACA Event Membership Fee on the day of the outing.
