Gentle run on the Brazos Sunday. Distance is 14.25 miles, there are no major hazards in this stretch and only a couple of rocky spots that require a bit of care. The put in and take out are moderately steep and muddy, but easier than many on the Brazos. Fossils and interesting mussels are frequent on the gravel bars. Birding is getting good.

River stage is slightly below median gauge height and flow rate for the date, but should be great for paddling.
