Yes, Brooks Lake in Sugar Land. It is behind the Whole Foods store, near the intersection of Hwy 59's Southbound feeder and Hwy 6. Brooks Lake is fed by Oyster Creek, and has a paved walking/jogging trail around it, which is lighted at night. Ducks, geese, turtles, carp, etc. abound.

Lake 288 has closed, permanently! Fiddlesticks! Does anyone know of a good place (other than Marshall Lake) in the Houston area where someone could get in some eskimo roll practice?
