The 2021 River, Lakes, Bays 'N Bayous Trash Bash® is coming to a location near you! This is an opportunity for you or a small group to do a cleanup in your own neighborhood (doing something like cleaning out a storm drain) or at a waterway of your choice.
Trash Bash educational videos and activities will be posted at the event’s website www.trashbash.org a day ahead on Thursday March 25, followed by the actual hands-on cleanups March 26-28. An online Data Reporting Form will make it easy for you to send in the results of your efforts to be compiled with those of others (the 2019 Trash Bash netted well over 56 TONS of trash!), and there are hashtags where you can share photos of interesting items that you find.
Then, you can join in on a live wrap-up video on Facebook Sunday afternoon. Everyone who submits a data form by Sunday March 28 at 8:00 PM will be entered into a prize drawing.
