Fellow members:
There is a proposal to put a new dam in the Colorado River watershed. The company tried to put one on the Little Colorado and failed, and now they want to put it on a tributary. Besides wrecking a pristine canyon, it would require pumping 3-4 BILLION gallons of groundwater just to make up for evaporation loss. Depleting the aquifer so the water can disappear into thin air. It's a bad idea.

Thanks! These days, we all need to speak up for rivers, or lose them.
