About this event
This is roughly 26.2 mile paddle on an interesting stretch of the Brazos. In general there are no unusual river hazards on this trip except for the one limestone sill about three miles from the finish. The put in on this one is relatively easy, but the take out is pretty steep.
This section of the river runs through some of the most fossilferous outcrops in the state- primarily small Cretaceous marine fossils. The Brazos has been running at a decent level to make longer paddling trips, so come on out and enjoy this one. We will meet at SH 21 at 0800.
