Event Calendar - Event View

Join us for a pleasant 13 to 15 mile paddle on Peach Creek, Caney Creek, and the East Fork of the San Jacinto while we count birds as part of an official Audubon CBC. This is an out and back paddle, so no shuttle involved. The paddle is on flat water streams and cypress swamps near the head of Lake Houston. It is usually fairly productive for birds. We will meet at 0700 at the Caney Creek Canoe Launch (On Peach Creek) in Lake Houston Park. For those of you who don't yet have your Medicare card, there is a $3.00 entry fee per person.
